Diego was Born in San Diego, California On January 31, 1990.

Diego Studied Amateur wrestling in an Unknown School In San Diego on 2008. Nothing Much is Known about his Amature Wrestling Career. After Graduation, Diego Decided to Become an MMA Fighter. On June 3, 2010, Diego made His MMA Debut with a Losing Effort to Russell North who was Also Debuting at the Time. One month later he Fought North Again & Defeated Him Via Submission.

On June 12 of 2011 After His Final MMA Fight, Diego was Sadend to hear About the death of His Brother Andreas Diaz. Then he started his wresting Career & Trained by Andreas' Trainer, Mentor & Friend Javier López. 1 year later Diego Made his CPW & Pro wrestling Debut Under the Name "Diego A. Diaz".
